Project overview

Circular Retail Group focused on supporting thrift and textile operators in strengthening core back-of-house operations and upstream supply performance. The engagement introduced Lean Table Processing to improve sorting efficiency, standardize grading workflows, and reduce handling time per unit, allowing teams to move inventory through intake and floor readiness with greater consistency and control.

On the logistics and supply side, a Transportation Management System (TMS) approach was implemented to improve inbound and outbound flow visibility, enabling better coordination of donation pickups and downstream movement of goods. In parallel, a structured donation acquisition strategy was developed to stabilize intake volumes, while enhanced salvage pathways were established to maximize textile recovery through recycling streams—reducing landfill dependency and increasing material diversion rates across non-resale categories.
